It is projected that Europe would be the region whose economy could benefit the most from using AI for environmental applications, increasing its GDP potentially by 5.4 percent by 2030, in comparison to a business-as-usual scenario. Globally, economic gain from using AI in the agriculture, energy, transport and water sector could reach between 3.6 to 5.2 trillion U.S. dollars by 2030.
